In 2021, I participated in an intentional sheep to shawl type spinalong, spinning yarn with the intention of using it in a particular project. I spun approximately 2 pounds of gray Shetland roving into a 2ply DK weight yarn. It was a bit thick and thin, imperfect, but it made a wonderful gorgeous cardigan. It took about 2000 yards to make. I even made the wooden buttons myself.
